HISTORY IN THE MAKING
A unique fit out to be part of, Powerscout Distillery represented the complete design and project management of the interior of the building encompassing the co-ordination of the build, M&E and every aspect of the interior fit out.
The distillery is home to a reception, large retail area, six carefully appointed tasting rooms and café/bar. The fit out incorporated the restoration of the old mill house to the front of the building and a classic contemporary direction in look and feel to the rest of the distillery.
Sustainability was a large part of our design, with the heat used from the distilling process to provide under floor heating to all of the visitors centre. The fit out team within DDC worked very closely with Powerscourt Distillery to make sure that the quality of the fit out, reflected the brand values and provides a customer experience where every detail was taken care of. Controlled costs and tight project management were critical in ensuring the success of this project.
